Petty Officer 3rd Class Jevaun Brown, aviation boatswain's mate (equipment) draws a lower hook-up cable (starboard side) from the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The cables provide tension to the lower part of the barricade which is stretched across the flight deck to recover aircraft that are unable to land properly.
