PANAMA CITY, Panama (Sept. 19, 2016) - Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class Nicolas Hartman, a Sailor assigned to USNS Spearhead (T-EPF-1), shovels dirt with other Sailors participating in UNITAS during a community relations project at C.E.B.G. Lucas Barcenas, a school in Panama City, Panama. UNITAS, Latin for "unity," is an annual multinational exercise designed to enhance South American and U.S. naval and public security forces cooperation and improve joint maritime operations.
