Chief of Staff for the state of Florida, Brg. Gen. James Tyre, speaks with a Soldier from 1st Battalion, 124th Infantry Regiment, 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat, May 12, as he and the rest of the Combat Escort Team he's apart of goes through Pre-Combat Inspections and Checks in preparation for an upcoming mission. Tyre, along with the state Command Sgt. Major Robert Hosford, took a few days to visit the different battalions in the 53rd IBCT that are deployed to Kuwait.
