Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski greets each of the 73 Soldiers of the Oregon Army National Guard's Detachment 1, Bravo Company, 168th Aviation, following the unit's mobilization ceremony June 5 at the Army Aviation Support Facility No. 2 in Pendleton, Ore. The Soldiers will soon depart for Fort Hood, Texas, for pre-mobilization training, before continuing on to Afghanistan for a 10-month deployment. The Soldiers will transport personnel and equipment throughout the country in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
