The Assisted Messaging Processing Tool (AMPT) E-Codebook went through several prototypes before being introduced to Airmen in the field. The interface was created by Dr. Danielle Cummings, Computer Systems Researcher, and was tested by subject matter experts at the 707th Communications Squadron. AMPT will give warfighters the capability to encode and decode messages during missions where timeliness is critical. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. Alexandre Montes)
