CAMARILLO, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2016) A Camarillo High School student pilots a F-35 Joint Strike Fighter simulator to land aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) at the Ventura County TECH (Test and Evaluation Collaboration Hub) Center in Camarillo, Calif. The TECH Center integrates education with Navy aviation test simulators, allowing students to get hands on experience while providing test and evaluation data. NAWCWD, which has facilities in China Lake and Point Mugu, Calif., executes full-spectrum weapons and warfare systems research, development, acquisition, test and evaluation and is a leader in providing innovative, integrated and dominant warfighting effects for our naval, joint and coalition forces.
