Soldiers from the 28th Combat Support Hospital pose in front of the unit’s mural before heading to the start-line of the Army 10-Miler Shadow Race held near Baghdad, Iraq, Oct 9, 2016. The mural was painted in 2011 when the 28th Combat Support Hospital was last deployed to Baghdad. A total of 132 U.S., French, Belgian, Polish, Italian, and Spanish service members and civilian contractors completed the shadow run at the Baghdad location. The Army 10-Miler is held every October in Washington, D.C. with shadow runs sponsored at various locations around the globe for deployed service members. This year, over 35,000 runners competed in 17 locations worldwide. (U.S. Army Photo by Spc. Jacob R. Herrick)
