U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Theodore Rivera, the senior non-commissioned officer for the 28th Combat Support Hospital, takes a shapshot before the start of the Army 10-Miler Shadow Race near Baghdad, Iraq, Oct. 9, 2016. A total of 132 U.S., French, Belgian, Polish, Italian, and Spanish service members and civilian contractors completed the shadow run at the Baghdad location. The Army 10-Miler is held every October in Washington, D.C. with shadow runs sponsored at various locations around the globe for deployed service members. This year, over 35,000 runners competed in 17 locations worldwide.
