161003-N-VK445-011 CAMP KATUU, Republic of Palau (Oct. 03, 2016) Chief Petty Officer Jimmie Mckinney, right, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, works hand-in-hand with Crane Worswick, a local Palauan builder apprentice, in bending reinforced steel for a Material Liaison Office Pre-engineered building project. NMCB 5 is the forward deployed Western Pacific NMCB ready to support Major Combat Operations and Humanitarian Assistance/ Disaster Relief operations and to provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operational forces.
