Sailors and Marines attached to Joint Task Force (JTF) Matthew load food for delivery onto an MH-60S Knighthawk, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 28 (HSC-28), aboard amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). JTF Matthew was a U.S. Southern Command lead humanitarian assistance, disaster relief effort in Haiti following Hurricane Matthew. Matthew was a category 4 hurricane that formed in the Western Atlantic Ocean and affected Haiti, eastern Cuba, and the Bahamas before moving up the southeast coast of the United States.
