Candles were presented to base leadership as a part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Sept. 27, 2016. Notes written by victims at the Working Against Violence, Inc. shelter in Rapid City were attached to the candles in an effort to provide support and encouragement to other victims.
