Staff Sgt. Joseph Pires, 11th Air Wing Heaquarters, poses for a photo with his Red Sox jersey and a (Faithful) by Stewart ONan and Stephen King. Red Sox President and CEO Larry Lucchino brought the trophy to the area to show to the recovering veterans at Bethesda Naval Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the Pentagon as an appreciation for all the service members sacrifices. Pires, from Watertown, Mass., is a (die hard fan since 1984. It's a family tradition.)
