Gov. John Hoeven speaks with family members of North Dakota Soldiers deployed with on the KFOR 12 mission, following the announcement of the upcoming return of the National Guard soldiers from their peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. Family members, left to right, are Suzanne Richards, Kara Richards and Jodee Saylor. Suzanne’s son and Kara’s husband is Spc. A.J. Richards, and Jodee’s son is Sgt. Jordan Ternes, both of the 957th Liaison Monitoring Team. Suzanne is employed with the North Dakota National Guard as a Yellow Ribbon Specialist. The announcement was made to family, friends and fellow Guardsmen at the Guard’s Raymond J. Bohn armory on July 9, 2010.
