Marines partake of the numerous fresh fruit and vegetable items at the Marine Corps Air Station Futenma mess hall during the 241st Marine Corps Birthday celebration Nov. 9 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The Marine Corps Birthday is traditionally celebrated with a special meal of steak, lobster and many other courses and is open to Marines, base employees and their families. Marines and master labor contractors assigned to the MCAS Futenma mess hall welcomed Marines, civilian contractors and MLCs to enjoy the delectable courses, a uniform pageant by the Kubasaki High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets, and live music by the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band.
