FORT CARSON, Colorado – Sgt. Michael Vanhorn, left, a petroleum supply specialist, and Sgt. 1st class Freddy Drayton, a motor transport operator and platoon sergeant, both from Company A, 64th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, inspect tracking labels to go on vehicles during the brigade’s rail-load operations at the Fort Carson, Colorado, railhead, Nov. 8, 2016. More than 2,000 pieces of rolling stock are destined for Bremerhaven, Germany, where 3rd Brigade will receive its full set of ABCT equipment before onward movement to Poland for its deployment in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The arrival of the heavy brigade in January will mark the beginning of a continuous presence of an armored brigade combat team in central and eastern Europe to contribute to and strengthen NATO deterrence and defense efforts.
