Lance Cpl. Bewar M. Meho is awarded first place in the Chef of the Quarter competition by Maj. Michael Taylor, deputy director of the station supply directorate. Meho won for the overall presentation and best package, according to the judges. The winning meal was Mambo pork, broccoli, long-grain rice and apple cobbler. Meho made the meal because even though it is on the meal cards used by food service specialists, it is rarely ever made and he wanted to give the judges something they may not have had before.
