A Marine with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, lands a ‘finishing blow’ against his opponent during a pugil stick bout during the unit’s annual Spartan Games at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 10, 2016. Marines worked together with their companies to complete the physically strenuous seven-course event in order to enhance their Espirit de Corps, build Spartan family cohesion, and celebrate the 241st birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps.
