    Cpl. U.S. and Republic of Korea Marines came together in teams to overcome the obstacles at the course. KMEP 17-1 seeks to maximize interoperability with ROK Marine Corps ground forces. Mitzkovitz is a rifleman from Ocala, Florida and is assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, which is forward deployed from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to 3rd Marine Division, based in Okinawa, Japan.
