    PFC Subin Kim lands on Cpl. Gregory Mitzkovitz’s shoulders to get across the obstacle during Korean Marine Exercise Program 17-1 Nov. 24, 2016 at the Leadership Reaction Course at Camp Mujuk, Republic of Korea. KMEP is carried out in the spirit of the Republic of Korea-U.S. Mutual Defense Treaty signed between the two nations Oct. 1, 1953. Kim is a rifleman with 7th Battalion, 1st Marine Division, ROK Marine Corps. Mitzkovitz is a rifleman from Ocala, Florida and is assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, which is forward deployed from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to 3rd Marine Division, based in Okinawa, Japan.
