Sgt. Daniel Royal, a combat engineer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 274, uses dirt to plug a hole filled with dynamite, July 18. Royal and his engineers planted 180 half-pound sticks of dynamite to blow through a six-foot thick bed of rock block their progress on a flight line project. The support squadron is constructing an expeditionary flight line here capable of handling C-130 cargo aircraft traffic.
