Combat Engineers with Marine Wing Support Squadron 274 are using high explosives to blast through a six-foot bed of rock that covers the entire planned runway area on a flight line project here. So far, the engineers have used 3,773 pounds of explosives on the project. The squadron is building a runway capable of handling KC-130 cargo aircraft.
