Marines, Sailors train for strait passage during ARGMEUEX

Sailors walk the flight deck of USS Carter Hall (LSD-50) to search for foreign objects and debris, or FOD, prior to conducting flight operations Dec. 7, 2016 during Amphibious Ready Group Marine expeditionary Unit Exercise. ARGMEUEX is a three-week training evolution intended to build upon previous relationships, thereby enhancing Navy and Marine Corps interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities to tackle a wide range of operations during their upcoming deployment. During the exercise, Sailors and Marines work together to conduct flight operations, noncombatant evacuation exercises, simulated raids and visit, board, search, and seizure drills.
