(Left) Maj. Grant W. Siedenburg, commander of the 313th Medical Company (Ground Ambulance), and 1st Sgt. Hubbard Duranski, first sergeant of the 313th Med. Co. (GA), case their guidon during a color casing ceremony held at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq, July 28. The 313th Med. Co., a Nebraska National Guard unit, served at 11 bases across northern Iraq. During their 10-month mission, the unit traveled more than 60,000 miles on 188 missions offering convoy logistical medical support. Enemy forces engaged the unit multiple times during these missions.
