(GA), case their guidon during a color casing ceremony held at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq, July 28. The 313th Med. Co., a Nebraska National Guard unit, served at 11 bases across northern Iraq. Along with 188 missions outside the safe confines of their bases, the unit performed more than 250 missions on base while tasked as the base emergency medical services. The unit treated more than 3,300 patients during their 10-month tour in Iraq.
