FALL RIVER, Mass. (Dec. 7, 2016) Master Chief Petty Officer Craig Cole, command master chief, U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island provides remarks during a Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony held on board the battleship Massachusetts in Fall River, Mass. During his speech, Cole said, “The history of Dec. 7, 1941 is indelibly imprinted on the memory of every American who was alive that day but it bears repeating on each anniversary so that each subsequent generation will know what happened there and will never forget what that terrible day meant for America.” The ceremony was in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and to honor those who lost their lives that day.
