Crewmembers from Coast Guard Cutter Munro wait for a cake cutting ceremony as part of the acceptance ceremony for the Munro on December 16, 2016 in the ship’s mess deck at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
The ship’s keel was laid on November 5, 2014, and the acceptance ceremony formally transferred the ship from Huntington Ingalls Industries to the U.S. Coast Guard.
