U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Dec. 10, 2016) A U.S. Marine with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, guides a 7-Ton logistical vehicle through a bivouac site during Exercise Alligator Dagger, Dec. 10. The vehicle is an extended long-bed truck, capable of carrying up to 18 Marines or multiple pieces of mission essential equipment. Exercise Alligator Dagger enhances the MEU’s ability to be a flexible, adaptable and persistent force, which leads to a more stable region in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
