Caitlyn Larson, a platoon commander with Combat Logistics Detachment 111, Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, posts security around a halted convoy during Exercise Alligator Dagger Dec. 10. Each convoy vehicle has a specific logistical purpose such as carrying gear, personnel, supplies, ammunition, or food and water. Exercise Alligator Dagger maintains combat readiness across all warfighting functions which relies heavily on internal logistical support to ensure U.S. forces are ready to respond to any emerging crises.
