005: The stern of a Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) T-AGS 60 vessel with a glider in the distance. Gliders operate at speeds of ~0.5 knots and are highly susceptible to the environment, especially currents. They routinely dive to nearly 1000 meters and can operate for up to four months, depending on environmental conditions and sensors utilized.
