Soldiers of the 671 Engineer Battalion use radios to communicate with their counterparts constructing a raft on the Arkansas River during operation “River Assault." This type of raft is used to transport troops and equipment across water obstacles. River Assault is an engineer training exercise conducted annually by the 412th and 416th Theater Engineer Commands.
