U.S. Marine Lance Corporals Eugene Hong and Nicholas Stone, both mortar men with Weapons Company, 2nd Marine Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, observe soldiers with the Armed Forces for the Defense of Mozambique during peacekeeping preparations in Moamba, Mozambique, Aug. 5. The preparation is a part of Exercise SHARED ACCORD 2010, an annually scheduled, bi-lateral U.S.-Mozambique field training exercise aimed at conducting small unit infantry and staff training with U.S. Africa Command partner nations for the purpose of peace and stability operations. The exercise is scheduled to conclude, Aug. 13. All U.S. forces will return to their home bases in Europe and the U.S. at the end of the exercise.
