"I joined for college and the possibility of adventure," said Spc. Ian Shaffer, an ammunition stock control specialist with the 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), an Army Reserve unit from Coraopolis, Pa."I'm in college now and I've been on two deployments, I'd say the Army has given me everything I was hoping for," Shaffer added. The 316th ESC is currently deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait in support of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command mission of providing logistics support throughout the CENTCOM area of operations.
