Staff Sgt. August O'Neil, Air Force Wounded Warrior, and fellow pararescueman and Wounded Warrior, Staff Sgt. Nick Robillard, are hoisted from a HH-60G Pave Hawk during the opening ceremony of the 2016 U.S. Air Force Trials Feb. 26, 2016 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. This was the first time O'Neil repelled from an aircraft since sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg which resulted in a below the knee amputation.
