Combat Medics from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-153 Infantry Regiment simulated a mass casualty event at Fort Bliss, TX on January 17, 2017. This training afforded the Combat Medics an opportunity to utilize their medical training in a controlled environment. A mass casualty exercise is a realistic training event that prepares our Combat Medics to save lives during chaotic times. In order to provide the most realistic environment, Warriors from around the battalion got into character. It was an excellent event to prepare our Combat Medics for real life injuries.
