Gunnery Sgt. Timothy La Sage, the company gunnery sergeant for Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, hooks up to a static line during gorge crossing training during the first week of Exercise Mountain Warrior 06-10 at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, July 13. The Marines used this portion of training to build confidence in their abilities of traversing difficult terrain and learn the proper methods for crossing chasms.
