Lance Cpl. Barnabas Madison, a squad leader with 81st Platoon, Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion 6th Marine Regiment leads his Marines in immediate action drills in the well deck of USS Bataan (LHD 5) Jan. 22, 2017. Madison was recently awarded Marine of the Quarter for performing above and beyond his peers. Originally from Lake City, Florida, Madison has been in the Marine Corps for nearly two years and is currently attached to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit for his first deployment. Madison is planning to reenlist and make a career out of the Marine Corps.
