Students start their introduction course on air traffic control, at the Iraq Civil Aviation Training Institute, Aug. 31, at Baghdad International Airport, Iraq. As Part of Operation New Dawn, and the Strategic Framework Agreement, the U.S. Air Force is turning over airspace control from 15,000 to 24,000 feet in the northern sector of Iraq-known as the Kirkuk sector.
