AT SEA, Indian Ocean (Nov. 30, 2016) U.S. Marines with the Maritime Raid Force, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, locate the target on the surface of the ocean during aerial sniper training conducted aboard an MH-60 Seahawk nearby the USS Makin Island (LHD 8), while afloat in the Indian Ocean, Nov. 30. The MRF possesses the skills and tactics necessary, aerial sniping being one, to execute complex simultaneous inserts of air and sea assets onto opposed vessels and gas and oil platforms.
