Capt. Thomas Frey and Capt. Timothy Meldahl, air officers with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, use video downlink to verify an Italian jet aircraft is on target during a close air support exercise while forward deployed to the Middle East Feb. 9, 2017. Coalition interoperability was the primary mission of the event and was an opportunity for the joint terminal attack controllers to become more proficient with their skills. SPMAGTF-CR-CC Marines consistently train to enhance their ability to react to any obstacle they may encounter while conducting USCENTCOM’S crisis response mission.
