Spcs. Aaron Stone, Matthew De Rueda and Erdwin Garcia, all from the 58th Combat Engineer Company, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, use their math skills to determine how much C4 explosive to use on a steel beam during the 58th CEC’s live-detonation training at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif., Aug. 31. The steel beams were used to simulate beams used in buildings and bridges.
