JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Tech. Sgt. Temujin Ching, a flight engineer with the Alaska Air National Guard's 144th Airlift Squadron, shows his family the aircraft he works on here March 4, 2017. Current and former 176th Wing members and their families gathered for a fly-away ceremony of the Alaska Air National Guard's last two C-130 Hercules aircrafts. After 41 years of flying the C-130 aircraft, the 144th Airlift Squadron’s eight C-130s were divested, with the planes either being transferred to outside units or retired from service.
