Friends and family members of the 2nd Transportation Company (Heavy Equipment Transporter), welcome home their soldiers during a welcome home ceremony at the Freedom Fitness Center on Fort Irwin, Calif., Sep. 21. The 2nd HET was deployed to Kuwait for one year and ran transportation missions throughout Iraq. The 2nd HET was also tasked with transporting equipment during the U.S. military’s recent drawdown in Iraq.
