A 47-foot motor lifeboat from Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment comes alongside the Coast Guard Cutter John McCormick (WPC 1121) in preparation for a passenger transfer in the Columbia River, March 11, 2017. The crew of the John McCormick is currently on a 6,200-mile journey to their final home port of Ketchikan, Alaska, to be commissioned as the first Fast Response Cutter on the West Coast April 12, 2017.
