A UH-1Y Huey with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), returns to the flight line here after a mission supporting ground troops in Southern Afghanistan. The "Y" version of the Huey has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in its second deployment in skies above Afghanistan. This airframe allows the "Gunfighters" to provide assault support, troop and cargo transport, aerial reconnaissance, overwatch and medical evacuation helicopter escort.
