Maj. Gen. William Hickman (right), deputy commanding general for U.S. Army Central, presents a photo and shakes the hand of retired Sgt. 1st Class Randy Nantz, 5th Special Forces Group. Nantz is one of six Soldiers who participated in this round of OPE, which is a program that brings wounded warriors back to the battle field and subsequently allows them to “properly exit” theater.
