U.S. Navy Lt. Eric Torres, member of the Marine Corps Reserve's 3rd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company of Long Beach, Calif. and attached to the 1st Iraqi Army Division Military Transition Team, communicates the need to slow the boat speed down as he teaches an Iraqi soldier how to operate a boat on the Euphrates River. The Iraqi Army will soon patrol the river to prevent insurgents from transporting IEDs into the area.
