CAPU MIDIA, Romania (March 20, 2017)—A Romanian service member instructs U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Rachel Warford, right, with 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Female Engagement Team, on proper use of an AK-47 automatic rifle at a live-fire range at Capu Midia training grounds in Romania, during exercise Spring Storm 2017, March 20. The 24th MEU participated in the Romanian-led bilateral maritime training evolution. The 24th MEU is deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and U.S. 6th Fleet areas of operation.
