CAPU MIDIA, Romania (March 20, 2017)—A Romanian service member fires a U.S. Marine Corps M4 carbine at a live-fire range at Capu Midia training grounds in Romania, during exercise Spring Storm 2017, March 20. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) participated in the Romanian-led bilateral maritime training evolution. The 24th MEU is deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and U.S. 6th Fleet areas of operation.
