Steven Chen, port captain, provides some cargo-related information to U.S. Army Col. Michelle Letcher (right) and U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Frank M. Graham Jr. aboard the ship “Liberty Passion” at the port of Constanta, Romania, March 31. Letcher and Graham, the commander and senior enlisted advisor of the 16th Sustainment Brigade, respectively, were on-hand to witness the offloading of vehicles and equipment. The 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command will oversee several units based out of Romania providing postal, military police, ammunition handling, movement, and other logistical support. The U.S. forces are in Romania as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a multi-nation effort between the U.S. and her Allies and partners to enhance regional stability and to deter aggression throughout Eastern Europe.
