CAMP BEUHRING, Kuwait (Mar. 5, 2017) U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct live-fire, fire and movement drills during a sustainment training exercise near Camp Beuhring, Kuwait, Mar. 5. Fire and movement is a technique used to advance a unit down a battlefield; one element employs suppressing fires to deter enemies while other Marines advance toward the objective. The MEU is postured to shape actions across the range of military operations to resolve conflict, conduct humanitarian assistance, or combat enemies in remote, austere environments.
